The following comments are from the Web Site design and Marketing presentation given at San Diego Technical Books on March 9, 1996. Well over 80 folks attended, but I only received the following 11 evaluation sheets.

    I came in as a totally a uninformed person wanting to begin my "literary path" for becoming an Internetter. You were very informative and your presentation was very well structured. It certainly gave a first step up.

    Contracting with an ISP's; domain names; how to set up home pages.

    Need complete explanation of mark up language.

    Authoring tools.

    Too much light on monitor. Needed multiple monitors. Need more seating. Can't see well over heads of people in front. Suggest different venue.

    My comment concerns your teaching style: OUTSTANDING! I'm a professional trainer & training director, and your skill at handling the audience, summarizing and answering questions, and knowledge of material is outstanding. Thank you.

    How to set up a web page. "Very clear and pointed."

    More insight into subscription process, e.g., when people can subscribe for continued services, such as library.

    Have a code, e.g., raise arm when "this will be handled later" Itemize the quick page steps. You explained it clearly but for a beginner it would save time on questions.

    Demos - New location of San Diego Technical Books will provide better viewing.

    Very good presentation! You certainly know your material and are comfortable presenting it to a crowd. "Not" a fly- by-night consultant.
